Band Earns Superior Gold Ratings in Nashville, TN

The Washington – Lee HS Band and Guitar Ensemble earned Outstanding Performance at the Nashville Band Competition. Followed by Jazz Big Band, Symphonic Band and Guitar Ensemble all earning Superior Gold Rating with the highest score being 97 out of 100. Students Receive 1st Prize at BlairHacks Hackathon

Ryan Bloom, Chase Hildebrand, Eric Lyngholm-Kjaerby, & Ken Parris received 1st prize at the BlairHacks 24-hr Hackathon held at Montgomery Blair HS. Together they hacked BusBot, an image recognition app that alerts students when their bus has arrived at school.
