46 Students Compete in 19 Events at Annual District DECA Leadership Conference

On December 6th, W-L DECA students competed in Entrepreneurship, Business Management & Marketing at the annual DECA District Leadership Conference. Forty-six W-L students competed in 19 events during the one-day event.

W-L had nine 1st place winners, six 2nd place winners, and four 3rd place winners. Congratulations to the following 1st place winners: Maxwell Clegg, Claire Spiratus-Hurst, Liam O’Casey, Ryan Gallant, Kashi Nikore, Allen Chang, Kaiya Mitchell, Jack Haselby, Hanan Abdulkader. Students will automatically qualify for the Virginia DECA State Leadership Conference hosted at the Virginia Beach Convention Center during March 2 – 4, 2018.
