IB Film Students’ Films Accepted into the All American High School Film Festival (AAHSFF)

Washington – Lee HS IB Film students produced films that were accepted into the prestigious AAHSFF [All American High School Film Festival]. In addition to three student film productions being given the honor to be screened at the AMC in Manhattan during the festival weekend and who are also nominees at the Teen Indie Awards, we also have two film teams competing in a 3-day “72 hour” film competition.

These 12 students were selected from over 2,000 applicants from all over the world vying for only 34 team spots…our kids took two of those spots! They have spent their summer writing an original screen play and film score, to then film and edit up to a 7-minute short during the “72 hour” competition to be judged by John Legend, Eli Roth, Ed Burns, Brittany Snow, Dylan McDermott, Henry Winkler, Kristen Stewart, Diablo Cody, etc.

Our students will have the opportunity to network with top film executives, directors, actors, film school admission reps, etc. as well as have a chance to win scholarships totaling well over $400,000. Films to be screened as Official Selections Nominees at the Teen Indie Awards:
