Superintendent’s Seminar

Superintendent’s Seminar is an Arlington Public Schools summer enrichment program. Rising 11th and 12th graders who have demonstrated a desire for an academic experience will spend a week participating in activities focusing on a theme. The theme for this year is Exploring Identity: Profile of A Graduate. Students examine the 5Cs: creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and citizenship to uncover the complexities of their own identity while participating in interactive discussions, simulations, workshops, and theater productions that address students’ interests in the arts, humanities, and sciences. Students will also contemplate future career opportunities.  Students visit different venues in the Washington Metropolitan area to observe different perspectives and encapsulate their thinking.
